Jack Dement was a prolific letter writer and journal keeper. He tried to invent a lot of things, it seems. He has many patent applications. He seems active, if not productive. I don't think he is creepy. He seems more like this interesting fellow.

I like his idea notebooks the best. The fact that they're dated and stamped with numbers, written in a standard format, with diagrams. He's a very organized guy. I read some ideas from the books, and they're the sort of ideas that occur to you. I mean not to you and me, but to him. They're not detailed ideas - they're kind of idea sketches, more than actual thought-out ideas. Just like "what if?". I think it's healthy to keep your "what ifs".

My favorite idea is "gun and bullets to shoot around corners". But there are many others. A lot of glow in the dark things, because Jack likes iredescence, luminescence, or whatever. He was interested in the atom bomb, but the only weapon I've seen was the gun and bullets to shoot around corners. There's the "Explotron", but I don't know if that's a weapon really. I haven't read the full pack, I think it was an energy device.

About looking at his history and such, I'm not too driven to do that, I don't know anything about his history, I don't know even if he's dead.

I would like to just assist to getting all the ideas in a database, completely transcribing the idea books, that's the most valuable thing to me, his ideas. There are thousands of ideas, it's inspiring.
