Flowers hidden under the rhododendron #whatplantisthis

After cutting down the sage bush, what looked like just an oval bed is now revealed to have been once a #permaculture herb spiral.
Small half-hidden sedum. Not sure how it ended up there, most of its sedum “friends” are at the pond margins.

This Currykraut planted and labeled who knows when doesn’t seem to have survived. The oregano is doing a bit too well though… ;)

Next in line for plant id homework. Waiting for it to flower I’m guessing it will come from the bud in the middle.
Trying to figure out if I should cut the dead leaves of our massive sage bush. In the meanwhile they’re a cozy home for ladybugs.

Homework: identify these three plants. With both leaves and flowers I might just be able to do so… Let’s see

And… Success! Primrose, Dead-nettle and Lesser Celandine. First two edible, last one poisonous… Nevertheless traditionally used as a hemorrhoids treatment 😬
