Pretty pink and taste like\u2026 chives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the first herbs to spring back to life in the balcony, it\u2019s very rewarding to plant it once and have it forever. On the way to a friend\u2019s house for pancakes last week (savoury buckwheat pancakes for lunch), she texted last minute: \u201cdo you have chives?\u201d. Yes we do!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>update: I recently found this\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mrbrownthumb.blogspot.de\/2016\/06\/chive-flower-vinegar-recipe.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">recipe for chive flower vinegar<\/a>.
