I think my winter was too hard though and the tubers in the pots I left outside didn\u2019t survive. This year I will dig them up and store inside in a cool, dry place, until I can replant next spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides eating them raw, I want to pickle some to preserve their taste and beauty a bit longer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>They look like tiny watermelons and taste like cucumber with a hint of lime.
