Any Gleeful God (2023)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Materials: strictures, acrylic word blocks, clay, copper wire, desire<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any Gleeful God is an erotic narrative in the form of poetic sculpture. Its first spark was set of strict constraints regarding location, space, and materials \u2013 leading to specific choices of media and sculptural material … leading to a restricted selection and number of words … leading to the construction of the artwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this backwards trajectory emerged a poem about what happens when desire meets prohibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can’t place two slabs of clay next to each other smooth over the gap, and expect them to merge. They have to be smashed together and worked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As time passes, everything changes and shifts, creating unexpected \u2013 sometimes intriguing \u2013 shapes, cracks and gaps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The word “promises” sounds like it might be the end of the sentence \u2013 but it\u2019s not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She’s currently immersed in emerging technologies as mediums of expression and collaboration. Her work includes layerings of VR, AR and AI; mixed-reality, townscale public art; large-scale animated projection; and collaborative artmaking facilitated by blockchain. She also has a background in poetry \u2013 her first love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
