Where once there was a wall.

Late afternoon.

Some mushrooms are now growing at the garden. Morels maybe?
Small half-hidden sedum. Not sure how it ended up there, most of its sedum “friends” are at the pond margins.

This Currykraut planted and labeled who knows when doesn’t seem to have survived. The oregano is doing a bit too well though… ;)
This wood palette is from Norway and was used as a floor board in the shed. It says “freezer & fridge” apparently.
The ivy covered plum tree is starting to flower as well
Found this name tag. It means “high little house” ;) Probably the last name of the family who built the house in the 30s and lived/vacationed there till 10 years or so ago when it became abandoned.

Our cherry tree starts to blossom
Accidental demolition geometry

Don’t know if this was meant to keep real frogs away or attract them…
Cherry tree sprouting some leaves directly from the trunk

Wood parts of shed mostly gone, just some beams left. The front was covered with tin sheets.

The power outlets from the shed are also still functional and quite charming / antique looking
Learned from our electrician neighbor that this cable is very old, from when ground was not yet standardized as green & yellow. He says it’s still in perfectly good condition to be reused and will outlive us both.
Another plant id homework. I might wait a couple of days until a few more of its flowers open…
Aerial picture from 1938 shows our garden house.

Patch of succulents by one of the mini ponds

Back wall clearance. Should be enough to give us some options for rainwater tanks
